Just back from having my eyes tested at Lydia Hayes. Great place, lovely, friendly and helpful people. Excellent experience, no more specsavers for me.

Recently moved to the area and wanted to use local/independent , visited today and couldn’t be happier with my choice , Lydia and staff are absolutely lovely , thorough test , not rushed at all and answered my questions and put me at ease over a couple of issues (put in my mind by a previous visit to a chain , which turned out were nothing to worry about ) very polite , lovely clean , spacious store , was able to take my time picking frames with no feeling of being rushed, very reasonably priced too, have already recommended to my husband who will be booking in , 10/10 👍

First visit for me. Health and safety adhered to with social distancing, masks and sanitisation. Friendly polite staff. Examination didn't feel hurried. Would highly recommend.

Very good service and fast delivery of my glasses - one week wait for varificals . Have used V express in grimsby for years won't bother now. Lydia Hayes staff are far more professional and customer focused

My glasses broke whilst on holiday in Mablethorpe; I went in to see if I could have them repaired (although was sceptical as the arm and joint appeared completely irrepairable). The optician/assistant went off with my glasses - taking some time to carry out the repair - after approx 20 mins he returned, having temporarily repaired my glasses to see me through for the rest of the holiday and my drive home. It was quite an elaborate repair, yet when i asked the cost I was told that it would be free of charge. What an excellent, helpful service - customer service, without agenda, at its best!
